New Friends of Bute Park

New Friends of Bute Park

Bute Park, 130 Acres in the heart of Cardiff – so important in so many different ways to so many different people.

It provides opportunities for exercise and relaxation; it links with nature and, as many recognised during the Covid period, it supports mental health.

New Friends of Bute Park work to ensure the park is managed in a way that enables everyone to use it to their benefit while remaining accessible to all.

Through volunteering and conservation we can enable everyone to contribute and enhance the facilities and maintenance of the park.

By organising events we can provide relaxation and enjoyment and the chance for people from all walks of life to participate and be involved.

Working with other like-minded organisations, we can enable park users to participate in nature conservation and have the chance to learn about biodiversity and play an active part in surveys and data collection.

As Bute Park belongs to the people of Cardiff, it is important to ensure everyone can have their say about how the park is managed and used.
